Training and Seminars
Another benefit of choosing Quad-Cities Online for your internet service provider is that you are allowed to attend computer training seminars for free. If you would like to attend a seminar, but are not currently a Quad-Cities Online customer, you can sign-up for service on the day of the class and attend the class for free.

Using E-mail and the Internet
Length: 2.5 hours
Description:
A basic guide on how to work a Web browser and send and receive e-mail. Our technical support staff will show you e-mail clients are available, how to send/receive messages, attachments, and many other e-mail related items. We will also instruct you on what a web browser is as well as show the basics of how to customize the browser to fit your needs. We will discuss both Internet Explorer and Firefox as well as information regarding cache files, bookmarks/favorites, home page setups, the address bar, toolbars, and many other items.
Windows Basics
Length: 2.5 hours
Description: This course covers the basic skills needed to operate a Windows machine. This class will cover basic Windows features and skills such as using a mouse, cut/copy/paste, delete, resizing windows, moving/creating icons, etc. It will not cover software/hardware troubleshooting or Internet information. This class is only available to Quad-Cities Online subscribers and is a free course.
